TOPS BRAND VS. ALDI BRAND: The Battle Continues ( Guess which one is cheaper?!)

So remember when I did the Tops Vs. Aldi post and people were saying well it is because you used coupons…. Well now I have taken the Tops cheapest store brand available- Valu Time compared to Aldi’s Brand.

Which one do you think will be cheaper? If clipping coupons and waiting for a sale is too much for ya and you just want to grab the cheapest brand than you will want to finish reading this post!! 🙂 But if you truly want to save 50% on your grocery bill I highly suggest to start looking at the Tops Matchups and use those coupons!

In case you are wondering what the Valu Time Brand is you can read my post about that here

Now Tops is usually running gas points promotions. You earn 1 gas point for every dollar you spend. You earn 10 gas points for every coupon you use up to 10 coupons per transaction.

So with gas points figured in…

TOPS MARKETS IS CHEAPER!

$17.40 for Tops, without figuring in gas savings.  $18.84  for Aldi’s a lthough you are getting 1 more lb. of  Sugar.

The point is they are both EXTREMELY CLOSE! So if you live closer to Tops you may save just as much if not more with gas points by hitting up the Valu Time brand. And if you are using coupons you will for sure save lots of money!

If you live closer to Aldi’s and you have all your kids with you you may save time and your sanity by going to there.

This is just a great way for us to be smart about our shopping and where we are spending our money!

Which store is the better fit for you and your family?

Will you be willing to shop at one over the other since comparing these prices?
