My Weekly Grocery Shopping Trip $32.10 for a family of 4 & Meal Menu

Last week’s motivation was lacking. This week I was motivated to use up leftovers in the freezer. One of my frugal ways is when we have just a couple servings left of a dish I throw it in a ziplock bag and put in the freezer. In hopes that one of us will eat it for lunch in the future or I can throw together a last minute dinner!

I ended up with 6 bags. Two of those were Meatless Chili so enough to put on the dinner menu!

This is also a rare week my husband has a microwave at work so he can take some of this!

Every week I look in my freezer, fridge and pantry first! Sometimes I can get so caught up in getting things for cheap or free that I tend to spend too much time chasing a deal and not enough time being creative with the foods I already have.

This week the deals at Tops were honestly “typical” to me.  Things I didn’t really need.If you have been couponing for awhile you know the same things go on sale. But if you are new to couponing enjoy take the deals in! There are some great freebies this week. And of course every week there are new or rare items! So you still have to keep your frugal eyes open at all times.

If you are new to this series you can see my first post here.
