FRIDAY 6/19
- $5.00 donation CLASSIC COUNTRY NIGHT: The music of Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, & Johnny Cash The Holland Land Office Museum continues its 2015 Concert Series with Classic Country Night, featuring veteran performers Dave Armitage, Dona LaValle, and Sam Powless. Together, the trio will be playing the timeless classics you know and love by some of country’s greatest artists, right in the Holland Land Office Museum on Friday, June 19th at 7:00 pm. Light refreshments and coffee will be provided. For just $5.00, you will not want to miss this intimate concert!
- The 2015 Batavia Muckdogs are ready to kick off with a Friday Night Fireworks home opener! First 100 fans through the front gate will receive a THURMAN THOMAS BOBBLE HEAD courtesy of Batavia Downs. Gates open at 6:05 pm. First 1,000 fans entering the stadium will also receive a Magnet Schedule Giveaway Presented by: The Daily News 1st 1000 fans. Post-Game Fireworks Fans will be wowed by post-game fireworks after every Friday home game! Launch-a-Ball to benefit the Hillside Family of Agencies. Invite your friends out to Dwyer stadium for a night of great food, great friends and of course great baseball!
- Genesee country Farmers Market at Batavia Downs Parking lot. 8a-5 p.m.
- Stafford Carnival Parade at 7 p.m. The carnival is open before this I believe! The parade starts down by the park in Stafford.
SATURDAY 6/20
- Darien Lake Amusement Park will host its 25th annual Father’s Day Car Show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 20-21. The price of admission is $25, which is good for two people to access the park and the car show for both days. Attending guests may vote on their favorite cars and bikes for the People’s Choice Awards, which will be given out on Sunday. The Special Judges Choice Awards will also be announced on Sunday. - Diabetes Basics Class – Part 1 – 10 a.m. to noon, June 20 at Alexander United Methodist Church, Rt. 98, Alexander. Jacquelin Deatcher NP, CDE will be offering a free class. This 2 hour class will answer questions such as: What is Diabetes? What is Prediabetes? Why is it important to control it or prevent it? What should I eat? How do I test my blood sugar? - Mercy Flight Annual Summer Open House – Noon to 4 p.m. June 20 at Home Depot, 4181 Veterans Dr., Batavia. There will be a Facepainter, Balloon Artist, Local Fire & EMS Groups, 50/50’s, Chinese Auction, Food and More!

- Batavia Rotary Father’s Day Fly in Breakfast at Genesee County Airport. 4701 Saile Dr. 7am- noon. $8 for adults $5 for kids ages 4-12. Kids 4 and under FREE! Serving sausage eggs, pancakes, and beverages. Meet the pilots, view their aircrafts.
