Easter is this weekend! Praise God for new beginnings! I love spring although it’s not feeling very spring like here. We get our hopes up of course but this is typical weather for us!
Here’s a list of things to do this weekend in our area. I hope you all have a wonderful Easter. Not much going on this weekend guess we will all be at the Easter Egg hunts!
- SATURDAY 3/26/16
Easter Egg Hunt in Centennial Park, Batavia. 9 a.m. sharp.There will be three age groups 0-3, 4-7, and 8-10 — with three Golden Prize eggs in each age group. The Golden Prize eggs get the winner a chocolate bunny from Oliver’s Candies. - LeRoy Easter Egg Hunt at Hartwood Park . 1 p.m. March 26 and will include an appearance by the Easter Bunny, hot dogs, prizes and more. The event is for children 12 and under, who are divided by age group.
- Create a White Felted Rabbit just in time for Easter! – 6 p.m. March 24 and 11 a.m. March 26 at GO ART!, Seymour Place, 201 East Main St., Batavia. Taught by Terry Weber from Bethany, participants will create a 6-8” soft sculpture in wool using traditional felting techniques. We will be making a white rabbit just in time for Easter. The class includes learning how to make a wire armature base to allow the animal to pose and flex. No experience necessary as this is truly and intro class. All materials are included and you will also get a little take home kit to continue your new passion! Cost is $18 members and $20 for non-members. Call 343-9313.
