Our family has fallen in love, like fallen head over heels in love with the Costco bakery. Have you discovered it yet? If not, I have all the glorious details for you today.
First, let me start by explaining, we do not buy bakery goods very often. Yes, fresh bread and rolls occasionally, but I am talking about the muffins, cakes, and treat-type items.
We see them, we exclaim how yummy they look, but we pass. Unless we are celebrating, treats are not part of the budget.
My husband and I had this wonderful day where we got to go to Costco, just the two of us. If you are a parent, you know what I am talking about.
No kids, the entire freedom of the store to explore, it was like an adventure from our early years. I knew what I wanted, and it was one of those cheese danishes!

I had been dying to try one ever since I walked into the club. I cried silently every time the sample lady failed to have them.
Costco bakery items fill up the table after it table. They have a ton of bakery items available year-round and bring in new delicious goodies as well.
I suppose every Costco carries different bakery items. Here is what I found at ours in Wisconsin.
DANISH
Here they are. A four-pack of these girls cost $4.99. Our Costco routinely has cheese and cherry for flavor options. These are melt in your mouth delish and worth every one of your hard-earned pennies.
CROISSANT
Believe it or not, I had never had a croissant before until I attended a bridal shower a few years ago. They served egg salad on top of this flaky golden brown goodness. A package at Costco costs $4.99.
MUFFINS
I know you have either already fallen in love with these, or you have walked by them several times. But, first, they are enormous. A six-pack is $7.99 and will easily curb that sugar craving.
They come in a bunch of different flavors. These were perfect for a woman’s event I recently helped put together. We cut them in half, and they were so moist and flavorful.
CINNAMON ROLLS
On I can tell by looking at them they are amazing. So pay $6.99 and skip the hours of prep to make your own at home. If you have tried these, leave us a comment at the bottom of this article.
BUTTER SUGAR COOKIE
Hubby snuck these in the cart on a shopping trip when they were on sale. The normal price is $9.99 for 24 cookies.

PIE
These pies weigh almost 5 lbs. They are a great size for gatherings and crowds. Depending on the season, they will also have pumpkin pies. This apple pie was the last one on the shelf—$ 9.99.
BAGELS
Our family loves bagels. We typically buy our bagels at Aldis, but honestly, we had never tried fresh bagels from a bakery. Then one day, they got us at the sample stand.
The cheese bagels were incredible; we ended up going home with several bags. A 12 count bag is $5.99.

CAKES
Costco is known for its cakes. They have circle and sheet cakes available right in the club. They will personalize them for you on the spot, or you can make special orders.
We have had their cakes several times, and everyone is always raving. Not only do they taste good, but other retailers can not beat their prices. For example, you can get a half-sheet cake for only $18.99.
You can’t place a cake order online. You need to go to your local club and fill out an order form. It would help if you gave a 2-day notice.
