At our local Costco in Rochester NY there were only a handful of these left. I grabbed an extra one to give to one our lucky readers.

This spring has been the most unusual time in my life. COVID-19 has changed the way we live. It turned a casual trip to the grocery store into a biohazard. Besides worrying about go out and about we have been praying and thinking about all those sick with the corona virus. Not long ago my brother-in-law tested positive. Fortunately his children had already been staying with me and could continue to stay with me while he recovered. Just yesterday I got the news that he is healthy and tested negative on his COVID-19 test. This summer I am looking most forward to feeling normal again. To being able to go shopping as needed, to seeing friends and family, to eating out, to going to church. I am especially looking forward to seeing the elderly in my family that has been isolated u til now.

I am most excited for summer thunderstorms – it’s so hot here in the summer we can’t do much, but when we get a thunderstorm we LOVE going outside to watch it roll in together. I just purchased my very first home in April. It has a huge pool which I’m so excited about. My first child just turned a year old on May 8th and I am taking him to see his 92 year old great great grandmother to Tangier Island this weekend. I am also most excited about a new trial Cancer treatment my neighbor, who has breast and brain cancer, is starting. I am hopeful this is successful in taking this poison out of her body.
