When shopping at Costco for plant-based snacks, I have a few of my favorite vegan snacks. My family has a variety of allergies, so we eat a primarily vegan diet. While that can seem overwhelming (and a little unfair), there are plenty of ways to have still yummy foods that meet any vegan diet requirements.
Here are my top Vegan Snacks from Costco
Have you tried this popcorn? I mean, seriously. Because if the answer is no, then you need to head to Costco ASAP- trust me. This popcorn is to die for!
I pretty much always have this delicious snack on hand and hidden deep in my pantry. You know the place- where no one else can see it, and you can eat it in secret? That’s where I store my Boom Chicka Pop.
RV Garcia Sweet Potato Crackers
These crackers are SO tasty. But, true to Costco style, the box of crackers comes with two bags, and I have to take one bag and hide it. That way, we enjoy the first over the weekend then I can pull out the second bag during the week to surprise everyone.
Made from sweet potato flour, so they are not just vegan- they are gluten-free.
This plant-based cracker is full of long-lasting energy and is the perfect snack paired with veggies and hummus.
As mama’s, we are busy! Sometimes we need some food that just grabs and goes, and I have found that these granola bars are some of my favorites. They are full of nutrients, and they store really well in my gym duffel bag or diaper bag.
I have found that they taste even better after being heated up in the microwave for a few seconds. So for my kid with a dairy allergy, I will crumble one up and add it to some coconut yogurt for a hearty breakfast.
This box is great because there are so many in one box. The Autumn Gold snack bar is always in my cart for a family as big as mine that always needs just one more snack.
Okay, we can get mixed nuts just about anywhere, I hear you. But the Costco deluxe mixed nuts? Now that is a delicacy!
This may sound crazy- but I love their nut ratio. They have the perfect amount of almonds to cashews, to brazil nuts. Any handful is a perfect mixture, it seems.
I also grab one container salted for snacking and another unsalted mixed nut container for meals like salads and smoothies. So if you have a picky eater in your family, trust me on this trip.
Looking for the perfect snack filled with fiber and sweetness? Look no further than the XX dates at Costco. They are also filled with protein and iron- something that you will need to be more conscious of once you decide to go on a plant-based diet. I try to eat 3-5 a day by eating them plain, blending them in my smoothie, or even topping with nut butter and a vegan chocolate chip (it tastes like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup- only way healthier).
There’s also a TON of plant-based recipes that use dates to sweeten them, so these dates are great to have on hand.
Hi-Chew Fruit Flavored Candy
Have you ever had Hi-Chew Fruit Flavored Candy? If you know, you know. They are the best!
These Candies are delicious and perfect to curve any sweet tooth for anyone living with a vegan diet. They come in a variety of fruity flavors like strawberry, orange, and lime.
When you are raising your children to eat a plant-based diet, there are still times where they deserve some candy. And don’t forget about yourself!
Grab a bag of Hi-Chew candies at Costco, so you are always prepared for that sweet candy craving. ;
Sprouted Pumpkin Seeds
A good magnesium, protein, zinc, and iron source, these pumpkin seeds are great for a vegan diet! With just a pinch of sea salt added, these pumpkin seeds can be blended into a flour for baking, added to a trail mix… anything!
These pumpkin seeds taste so great, and my kids love to eat them on their own.
Plus, when your seeds are sprouted like this brand at Costco, the number of antioxidants in them increases for that extra boost to your immune system. That is something that we all need this fall.
Dark Chocolate Nuggets
Talk about the perfect vegan snack. These dark chocolate nuggets are hearty, healthy, and oh so sweet! A few of these nuggets made by innofoods is just the most delicious plant-based snack on the market.
The ingredients are so clean and limited, which I love. In fact, these Dark Chocolate Nuggets only contain 4 ingredients- vegan dark chocolate, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, and chia seeds. That’s it!
Don’t miss out on these treats on your next Costco haul!
Kirkland Signature Chunky Guacamole
Made with hand-scooped Hass avocados, these single-served chunky guacamole cups are a great plant-based snack. It’s no secret how nutritious avocados are, and this guacamole is packed with them. With just a few additional plant-based ingredients, this healthy snack is a win in any household.
For my own home, we almost always have these in the fridge. It adds an easy serving of fat (great for brain development) and a great taste to any meal like lentil tacos or vegan chili.
Buy these, Mama! Buy them and thank me later.
These packets are perfect sides to any vegan meal and can be cooked super quickly. Just throw them in the microwave for 90 seconds, then top with roasted veggies for a healthy dinner.
The carbohydrates that these packets give will give long-lasting energy to get you and your family moving. So whether it’s going on a hike, swim lessons, or deep cleaning bedrooms, this addition to any meal is worth it.
Tell me, what did I miss?
