FRIDAY 12/5
- FROZEN EVENT at Wendy’s. Kids meal $1.99 craft and Anna, Elsa & Olaf will be there! 5 pm.- 7 p.m.
- CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY– Downtown Batavia. Parade, wagon rides, santa, and more! 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Parade at 6:30

- LeRoy Annual Winterfest- Shop, Dine, and Win in LeRoy – bring all receipts dated November 6th to December 6th (purchases the 6th count) to the Community Holiday Bazaar by 3pm on the 6th to be entered in to drawing for gift certificates and prizes. Stroll the Village for Full Card Business Bingo 10-2 for prizes. Kids Zone Activities, lunch and dinner specials and more!\
- Kozy Kabin- 922 Genesee st. Corfu has $35 fresh cut trees any size, fresh decorated wreaths $25 and Santa coming Saturday and Sunday Dec. 6 and 7 th 2pm-4pm.Good times for the kids so bring your camera! Hot cocoa and cookies Wed.-Sat. 10am-5pm Sunday 2pm-6pm
- Genesee Society of Model Engineers to Host Annual Open House – 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 6�at the club’s location at 50 Main Street (Rte. 63), Oakfield. (above the M&T Bank). The “free” event is held annually in conjunction with the Village of Oakfield’s “Christmas in the Village” celebration. Visit http://www.gsme.org.
- Christmas at Hidden Valley-See the lodge decked out in all it’s Christmas glory. Have breakfast or lunch with Santa. Bring the kids to play in Santa’s workshop and have pictures taken with Santa. Shop at the gift & craft show. See the animals of the season and, if weather permits, enjoy a winter sleigh ride. It’s all at Hidden Valley 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6-7. Reservations recommended. - Holiday Bazaar – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the YWCA of Genesee County, 301 North St., Batavia. Find your holiday gifts all in one place! Quality, hand-crafted goods & specialty items. Sip some hot chocolate and enjoy freshly made soup. Still accepting vendors – $20/table. For more info. and to rent a space, call 343-5808.
- Create A Critter – 10 a.m. to noon, at the Genesee County Park & Forest Interpretive Nature Center, 11095 Bethany Center Rd., East Bethany. Cost: $5/one adult and one child ($3/additional child). Pre-registration required. Join us and use your creativity to make creatures, decorations, and ornaments out of natural materials collected from nature. For more info. and to register, call 344-1122.
- Pet Photos with Santa– Petco Batavia from 1 to 4 pm. Volunteers For Animals will be assisting and will receive proceeds from each photo. So pack up your pet and bring them out for a photo withSanta and help support the animals at theGenesee County Animal Shelter.
- Swiss Steak Dinner – 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Elba United Methodist Church, Chapel St., Elba. Price will be $9 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. The dinner will include Swiss steak, potatoes, vegetable, roll, dessert and beverage. There will be a bake sale during the dinner.
- Christmas Classics- Rich Conroy of the local band Strummerz will perform “Christmas Classics” from 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 6 and 13 at City Slickers Bar and Grill in Batavia. There will also be a special meet-and-greet with “Santa Grinch” and “Cindy Lou Who.”
- Elba Betterment Committee’s second annual Christmas in the Park even.- A lighted tree celebration representing area families, businesses and churches. Lighting ceremony will be at the Village Park.
SUNDAY 12/7
- Breakfast with Santa .Stafford Volunteer Fire Department 8:30 to 11:00 am. Santa arrives at 9am. $6.00 per person – children under 10 free.

- The Genesee Symphony Orchestra will present its holiday show at 4 p.m. with guest conductor Rick Fleming. Tickets are available at Roxy’s Music Store, 228 West Main St., Batavia, and the Genesee-Orleans Regional Arts Council, 201 East Main St., Batavia, or online at www.geneseesymphony.com/tickets.
