Well I have been slacking. It’s the weather. It really doesn’t help when your parents are telling you how warm it is where they live either! It’s been freezing. I just have not found much motivation with bringing the girls outside. But it’s slowly coming back. I brought the whole family grocery shopping.
But we did it. I debated to do the Quaker deal at Tops. We need oatmeal but the oatmeal is still cheaper at Aldi’s.
You can see me other weekly shopping trips here, here, here. This series is fairly new! So you can catch up!

Our weekly grocery budget is $65. So under budget second week! YAY!
Here is our weekly menu choices! I just want to share that sometimes just making a list of menu choices helps so much in planning. I realize that some days I’m more in the mood for something else or an activity or something like that came up and I can swap out things. It really helps in last minute spending for sure whether it’s eating out or running to the store quick.
I use meat that we have already and really try to cut out as much processed food as possible. I think if I can make it instead of buy I will. Yogurt is one thing I suck at. I will try it again one of these days in the slow cooker because I haven’t tried that method yet. But there are so many items you buy at the store and can really end up making at home for cheaper and almost always healthier!
