You know how I have been saying to shop your PANTRY first? I am not sure if I have emphasized to shop your pantry first and then shop the ads.
This week I glanced in my pantry and realized I have a LOT of pasta. I need to incorporate that into my meals this week.
It took planning this week for my shopping list because of the gas point boxes. I really do a balance of shoppping my pantry and shopping the sales.
WHY? Because if I know that Wise Potato Chips are B1G1 this week and I have a coupon to use and next week we have friends over and I don’t have chips, I am going to stew over paying full price..
Maybe you can relate. So I have to take into consideration items I feel are a bargain price to buy now so I do not pay full price next week!
My weekly Grocery Budget is $65. My husband is a hunter so I am blessed with being able to use venison meat. Ground Beef seems to just keep rising these days! we can!

I made the menu for the whole week but I completely forget we have my Brother in Law’s wedding this weekend. So I won’t be making a meal Friday or Saturday now and will have two days of already planned meals for Sunday and Monday! WHOO that gets me excited! The little things in life 😉
BREAKFAST
Cereal, Oatmeal, Eggs
LUNCH:
Tuna Mac Salad with Chips
PB&J Sandwiches Chicken nuggets ( I still have a bag left from that Stock up on chicken nuggets at Tops weeks ago!)
Whatever else snacks we have. I don’t plan to much for lunch! Some days we may grab somthing and head to the park so I don’t like to have this too planned!
DINNER:
Sunday- Grilled Salmon with Sweet Potatoes- from last week, Frozen Broccoli steamed
Monday- Baked Ziti with home made garlic bread
Tuesday-Sesame Chicken with Chungs Egg Rolls- Both items from a stock up. The Harvestland Chicken at BJs and Chungs at Tops!)

So many good deals here! In Canada our coupons have a lot of “fine print” which makes things harder.

Great job with the grocery budget! I need to get much more disciplined in my grocery spending. We spend so much with two teenage boys in the house!
