Here is a great community event to share in the Christmas spirit!

The Batavia Business Improvement District (BID) would like to invite the community to take part and enjoy the downtown’s annual Christmas in the City celebration on Friday, December 4th from 5-9pm. Activities include Photos with Santa by The Daily News at GOArt!, stores & restaurants offering specials and entertainment, horse & wagon rides for $1 on Center Street, free shuttle rides by RTS from the Save-a-Lot parking lot to the Holland Land Office Museum’s Wonderland of Trees exhibit, Santa’s workshop by The Home Depot at 109 Main Street, free yogurt samples by Alpina at 200 East Main Street, the Batavia Concert Band in the Batavia City Centre from6-6:45pm, and the Holiday Parade at 7pm on Main Street from City Hall down to Bank Street.
The event will also include the City of Batavia’s Centennial closing ceremonies which ends with fireworks after the Christmas in the City Holiday parade.
