Costco Wholesale is an excellent resource for finding amazing deals on food, electronics, outdoor supplies, clothing, etc. Yet, many people don’t know how to take advantage of these deals.
This blog post will discuss the best way to use deals at Costco to get the most bang for your buck!
How to Get the Most Out of Costco Wholesale:
Becoming a member is the best way to get the most out of Costco Wholesale. Members have access to all the deals that Costco offers. We’ve compared the pros and cons of membership and feel it’s worth the cost in a few visits.
You’ll enjoy all kinds of perks from exclusive auto and tire center discounts, travel deals, in-store samples and demos, a generous return policy, Kirkland signature products, and more.
Additionally, knowing the best time to shop at Costco is essential. During Covid-19, Costco altered its store hours. This allowed first responders and seniors early shopping hours. Costco is now back to regular operating hours.
The best time to shop is early in the morning or late at night before closing when the store is not as crowded. This will allow you to browse through the items without feeling rushed.
Also, to take advantage of Costco Wholesale’s weekly ads. Instant savings are in the front of the store, emailed, or on their website. Utilizing these promotions and services like ibotta, you can double your savings.
If you’re not a member, there are still ways for you to take advantage. First, you can use the Costco Shop card. There is a life hack you may not know of; nonmembers have access to the food court. One of the best deals in town for a Pizza is Costco’s XL 18″ for $9.99. You also have access to the Pharmacy and Vision Department.

Have dinner again, and again, and again. This is one of those meals you’ll want to freeze because this is seriously one of the largest pot pies I’ve ever seen and filled with delicious rotisserie chicken, fresh veggies, and a golden-brown crust. It’s a Costco-sized dinner but worth it if you get a few meals out.
- Frozen Food
Kirkland Frozen Chicken Tenderloins $20
One of the most cost-effective ways to supply an easy protein for meals is Kirkland frozen chicken tenderloins. These are boneless, skinless, and individually flash frozen tenderloins in a 6lb bag that can last families quite a few meals. I’ve used these for plenty of meals and often buy a bag.
Frozen Fruit & Vegetables $16
If your produce often goes terrible or needs them for smoothies, frozen fruit & vegetables at Costco are a great option. They usually come in various frozen blends or large bags with quality organic produce that is more cost-effective than buying it fresh individually.
Tropical fruit blends, Veggie medley, Stir-Fries, and more.
Mozzarella Sticks
They are dorm-friendly, kid-friendly, and taste great in the air fryer. If these are welcome appetizers in your home, I’d consider buying them at Costco. Pair them with your favorite Marinara. We love Rao’s.
Check your local Costco to see what brand they carry here.

Kirkland Toilet Paper 30ct $18
There was a mild uproar within the Costco Fanclub regarding how Kirkland Brand toilet paper decreased the sheet count and increased the price.
However, most members still feel this is a solid buy for the bulk amount. Regardless, it’s still 36 rolls and 231 sheets.
Paper Plates 186ct $20
