Are you waiting on the Lord?
Oh something big may or may not be happening in my life. Something I’m too scared to share with you. For some reason if I typed it or shared it with you all it would damage my risk of the answer.
Silly though.
When there is already a plan in place.
Do you believe that? A plan is all layed out for you. It seems hard for sure. Two years ago around this time my best friend was murdered. 4 years ago my brother was fighting for his life from a mystery illness that destroyed so much.
Believe me, I know how hard it is to believe in a plan.
But yet I do.
I should be looking for deals. Instead I can’t help but share what’s on my heart. This blog is to encourage you in living the best life on a budget. And in that being able to enjoy life comes from faith as well.
My mom just left this past Tuesday. It was wonderful and as always so hard when she leaves. She encouraged us to continue looking for our farm house. I have wanted a farm since I was young.
I shattered my elbow and had 5 pins from horseback riding when I was 12. I couldn’t WAIT to get back to the farm. In middle school I was going to the farm instead of the dances.
It’s my desire. My husband’s too.
Long story short in just a week we looked around and what do you know the PERFECT house came about.
I won’t give you details now…..:)
But when we were out on the land I got goosebumps the feeling of I was in a dream.
We quickly got our paperwork done and put in an offer.
Or course the house has traffic. There is one more offer in. And four more showings this weekend. They will be presented to the attorneys.
We are hoping to hear something Monday. Whether we get the house or not- I know it’s all part of God’s plan for us. I’m so thankful to be a part of it. To see it. To enjoy it. To be it.
The day before we put the offer on the house this was my morning devotion. It spoke to me. Maybe it will speak to you. It seemed to fit perfectly in everything that is going on. Yesterday I saw a rainbow and it just reminded me of the power of God. The control he has.
( My youngest brother who is 17- homeschooled, got an internship at Red Ventures in South Carolina, he was offered a job! An amazing opportunity that college graduates from top name schools were turned down on. God is in control.)
Here’s my devotion from the other morning:
“And the grace unmerited favor and blessing of our Lord actually flowed out superabundantly and beyond measure for me, accompanied by faith and love that are to be realized in Christ Jesus.” 1 Timothy 1:14
God wants to bless you today. You may feel that you shouldn’t have nice things, but let God balance your thinking when it comes to His Blessings. He will help you understand what you should have and what you shouldn’t have. God blesses you so that you will be a blessing to others.
When God provides for you, it offers hope to unbelievers that He is faithful to provide for those who serve Him. You are an ambassoder for Christ expect His provision today and don’t hide His blessings when they come.”
WOW right?!
We may or may not get the house. But as I was out on the beautiful property envisioning a life I’ve always dreamed of I thought- Why do I deserve this? I’m just a regular person.
And then I read that devotion.
Let God speak to you today.
Allow God to bless you!
-Now back to the deals 🙂

Waiting can be difficult, but there is always purpose in it. I recently wrote about the beauty of waiting on my blog. You may enjoy it. http://unveiledandrevealed.com
