Here is a list of things to do in our area this weekend!
Want to note that the Genesee County Fair starts today July 21st! $5 carload admission.
FRIDAY
- Genesee County Fair 10am. Demo Derby at 7 p.m. For complete list of things going on there go here.
- Kingdom Bound at Darien Lake. The festival will feature more than 50 internationally acclaimed musical acts, including performances by 2015 Grammy Award winners Lecrae and for King and Country, as well as headliners Casting Crowns, Newsboys, and Thousand Foot Krutch. There will also be dozens of inspirational seminars. A complete list of all artists and speakers can be found www.kingdombound.org. Events begin at 10:30 a.m. each day.
- The Downtown Batavia Business Improvement District presents the Jackson Square Concert Series at 7 p.m. each Friday at Jackson Square, between Jackson and Center streets. The rain location is City Centre, Main St. This week’s performer is OHMS Band.
- Movies in the Park- Oakfield. The Oakfield Betterment Committee presents free “themed” movie nights every other Friday throughout the summer at 8:30 p.m. at Oakfield Town Park. This week’s feature is “Grease.” This will be “Neon Night.” For more information, visit www.oakfieldbetterment.com.
- Genesee Country Farmer’s Market at Batavia Downs. 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.

SATURDAY
- Genesee County Fair last day!
- Batavia Public Market on Saile Drive. 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. Classic Car show from 11 am – 2 p.m.
- Town of Batavia Fire Department has their Annual Harley Davidson Event! FREE! Starts at 7 p.m. The Band Talon will be playing live. 8382 Lewiston Rd. Batavia!
