I made it my mission as a mom to have my kids learn independent tasks. It is super helpful when they can help make their food in the morning.
When our toaster began burning things, I knew it was time to get a new one. I spent hours online searching for a toaster, but I felt many were expensive for what they offered.
When I was a kid, we always had a toaster oven. So I started researching getting a toaster oven versus a regular toaster.
I was at Costco grabbing some of my grocery lists when of course, I stopped down the kitchen aisles. The kitchen aisles are always my favorite because our store loves to mark items down on clearance.
Costco had some great options on toasters and toaster ovens. Then I spotted the Cuisinart Air Fryer, toaster oven, and range.
Purchasing items like this at Costco is highly worth it. In addition, Costco has an excellent, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee that you can take advantage of at any time.
They have some restrictions, but this alone can give you peace of mind if anything were to go wrong with your item. Plus, I earned an additional 2% cashback using my Citi Anywhere Costco Visa.
My husband and I had been talking about an air fryer for quite a while. Unfortunately, the price difference between the toaster oven and the Cuisinart was $50. So I decided to surprise my husband and make the splurge on this fancy kitchen appliance. I grabbed it and was giddy with excitement to try it out.
Although Tasia has the Ninja Foodi Air Fryer that I’ve had my eye on, I wanted to take advantage of the deal at Costco.
I immediately fell in love. Here is why:
PRETTY APPEARANCE
She is so pretty. We have stainless steel appliances in our kitchen, so she matches well. I found the perfect spot for her on the counter where the kids can reach and use it with ease.
PERFECT SIZE
The actual size of the appliance is 15.50″ x 16.00″ x 14.00″. It weighs about 21 lbs, and I am thankful that we had the space to keep it out on the counter.
When you can keep something out, you are much more likely to use it. This is because it can hold a ton of food. According to the manufacturer, it can have a 12- inch pizza, six pieces of toast, and a 4lb chicken. The toast is what got me for our family; the more toast I can make at one time, the better.
AMAZING FEATURES
We have a total of 7 Functions: Air Fryer, Convection Bake, Convection Broil, Bake, Broil, Warm, and Toast. With how much this can hold, I can easily make enough food to feed our entire family of six.
This oven has an adjustable thermostat and a timer length of 60 minutes. I am so happy it comes with three different trays, so you do not need to purchase anything additional.
The basket is used for air frying, an oven tray, and an oven rack. The manual gives many examples of when you would choose to use each tray to make it turns out the best.
EASY TO USE
I admit I was a little bit intimidated when I first got her set up on the counter. However, I wanted to try it out, so I grabbed a piece of toast and played around.
I was so excited that the toast cooked quickly and would be easy for the kids to do as well. I spent hours online researching recipes and chose picked those that were simple and kid-friendly. I have been satisfied with everything I have tried so far.
DINNER WAS DELICIOUS
You were wondering what I tried first? I grabbed this bag of Tyson Black Pepper Herb Chicken Breast Strips for $13.49 at Costco. Dinner needed to be quick and easy, and I felt confident that these would be healthy and, more importantly, liked by the kids.

I selected Air Fry, set the oven temp to 350 degrees, and let it heat up for about 5 minutes. Next, I sprayed the basket with some non-stick cooking spray and lined as many as possible in the basket, leaving room between strips.
I put them in for 8 minutes, then flipped them for about five more minutes.

The result was a slightly crisp, non-breaded chicken strip! They had SO much flavor and were juicy inside.
My son Wesley said they were the best dinner he had ever had. It was sweet relief to hear excitement about dinner.
Since that first day with the chicken tenders, we have tried many recipes. Toast turns out great, waffles cook up fast, and cookies turn out moist. Our Superbowl party was a success with some air-fried pickles.
The options are truly endless. For example, the Cuisinart Air Fryer, Toaster oven is such a fantastic kitchen appliance.
You can pick your own up at Costco today for $159.99 or order online here.
